MX Deep Dive

Step an MX virtual machine, rewind along its timeline, and branch a run without losing the original. Runs on Apple silicon Macs, with support for every guest.

Created from an MX Studio VM

£50 per device, perpetual per major release

See the machine at every step.

Move through the whole machine.

Deep Dive records the virtual machine as it runs. Step forward, then return to any recorded point and look at the machine as it was then.

Read devices as they were.

Open a device and see its registers at the selected step, with the accesses that changed them. Pin the ones you care about and watch them move as you step.

Start from an MX Studio VM.

Create a project from a .mx virtual machine, optionally from one of its snapshots. The project keeps its own copy of the VM and the whole recorded history, so the original is never touched.

Built around the recording.

Branch a run.

Fork from a recorded point and keep going down a different path. The original timeline stays where it was.

Inspect any state at any point.

Registers, memory, devices and the data they hold are recorded with every step. Set a breakpoint, stop anywhere in the history, and read the machine as it was at that moment.

Every guest. On Apple silicon.

MX Deep Dive is a native Mac app for Apple silicon. That is the machine it runs on: it supports every guest MX does, so any MX virtual machine can be recorded and stepped.
